Gotta love those Socially Minded Elitists written by: Eddie Nelson

Socialism: a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. (In Marxist Theory) a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of Communism.

Communism: A theory or system of social organization in which all property is owned by the community and each person contributes and receives according to their ability and needs.  See also Marxism.

These are both, VERBATIM, the definitions of socialism and communism as given by The Oxford Dictionary of English.

Synonymous: having the same meaning as another word or phrase in the same language. (also from The Oxford Dictionary of English).

So can anyone really state now that there is a huge difference between the two?  Considering that all of these “Socially Minded” elitists claim that all they want is fairness for all.  You know the ones: the same political figures that said the will of the people be damned lets work on that free health care for all thing…well all except for us politicians who would rather pay for it because we are quite aware that “socialized” medicine is terrible (just ask North Korea).  You know, the same politicians and actor/wanna be political activists that all flew on those gas drinking private jets and rode in those really nice gas powered limousines to a summit that was filled with enough food to possibly feed a small starving nation for a week, that was to be the “ground zero” for a new thinking of environmentalism…you know the one that told every one what WE need to do to cut back pollution, and pressure other politicians to tax US for driving to far to perhaps visit a loved one.

Here is what I am noticing…Perhaps Karl Marx was right, maybe socialism is just a stepping stone to communism.  Although in my eyes they already seem very similar.  Could it be possible that Socialism is just like communism except that the government doesn’t officially “own” private property, they just regulate it anyway and tax it to death.  I think Mobster’s do a very similar thing and the “G-men” (sorry gotta go a little old school lol) call it extortion, you know “pay up and do as we tell ya if ya know whats good for ya”.  So in communism you can’t own anything or work for anyone that doesn’t belong to the government, and in socialism you can’t own anything or work for anyone that isn’t regulated by the government, did I get that right?

Just for your reading pleasure I now will post the 10 Pillars of Communism, as written by Karl Marx in his history changing book “The Communist Manifesto”.  Be warned however, some of these things sound like a good idea at face value.  Hell many of them we already practice either outright or in a similar nature.  Just remember you history class kids…COMMUNISM DIDN’T WORK, AND THOSE COUNTRIES PRACTICING IT STILL WELL JUST LOOK AT THEM FOR GOD’S SAKE!!!!!  STICK WITH ME FOLKS, I KNOW ITS A LONG READ BUT YOU JUST MIGHT LEARN SOMETHING!!!

  1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.  “writ of eminent domain” sound familiar?  Might wanna look up just how far that “writ” can go these day thanks to some really dumb supreme court decision (see also: precedence)
  2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.  Thank you Woodrow Wilson
  3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.  Have you looked at the inheritance tax since January 1st 2011…47% if I recall correctly, I’ll bet you dead uncle is so happy that he could leave behind such a tax  burden
  4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.  Doesn’t the IRS confiscate your property if you rebel and refuse to pay your graduated income tax?
  5. Centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly. Ever heard of the Federal Reserve?  But you didn’t know it was a private bank…No more federal than Federal Express!!!
  6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state.  Effective 2010 the FCC “Federal Communications Commission” is no longer bound to the laws of the freedom of information act
  7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state.  Those corporate bailouts didn’t come without a price…  those that received a bailout also received a new stack of regulations in which to comply (FYI regulation compliance costs money, I wander if that could have been money that the corporation could have used to NOT NEED A BAILOUT!) or worse yet they had to turn over large amounts of stock to…the federal government.  Guess who the majority stockholder of GM is?did you know that AMTRAK also used to be a private rail…similar scenario now owned by Uncle Sam and has the highest accident rate of any train system IN THE WORLD!!!
  8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of civil army.  Sorry but Definition time (stay with me)…Obligation: an act or course of action to which a person is morally or LEGALLY bound; a duty or a commitment (Oxford Dictionary).  So if you are obligated to work doesn’t that make you a slave (provided you haven’t signed a contract or anything, you just happen to be born in the wrong country that uses such a law)?  And wasn’t president Obama talking about creating a civil service corp for teenager/young adults that would be compulsory (see also Mandatory)?  Wait didn’t Hitler have a civil army called the Shutstaffel (German for protection force) also know as the SS.
  9. Abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country. “A more equable distribution of the populace”, to me that sounds like the government may tell people were they are required to live in order to better distribute the land for “the greater good”  So far I really can’t see a good example of this one being used in the US…maybe after the housing bubble finishes deflating and people have no homes and need to be placed somewhere, who knows (and don’t blame the banks for the housing bubble, didn’t Uncle Sam force lenders to make loans that they new were too high risk?  What about that whole ACORN thing?)
  10. Free education for all children in public schools.  Have you seen the level of education coming from our public schools, shameful to say the least…but hey they government know whats best for us right?
